I know what you're thinking, "What a jerk! He can't even take the time to sit down and write me a personal message." And you're right, not only am I a jerk, but I also don't have time for you. So there you go.
That having been said, welcome to my blog thing; I don't know what it is or how to use it, but it's easy enough for me to talk to all of you at the same time so that's a plus.
For those of you who are out of the loop, which may be the majority of you, let me give you an update on what's going on: I live in Riverhead, New York and have just completed my first six months as Recreation Coordinator at Timothy Hill Children's Ranch. God has blessed me here, he has surrounded me with mentors and people to mentor, he has given me great friends and helping me to be a better one, and he's offering challenges that make me grow. I have found the passion of my life, and it's in a beautiful place surrounded by awesome people. I am blessed.
So before you go and check to see if I have added another handsome picture in the profile page, please stop and take a little time to pray for me. Pray that I am Strong and Courageous. Pray that I grow, not only as a man, but as a man after God's own heart, so that I can live out my dreams and mold men after God's own heart. Pray for the Ranch, for the hearts of the boys, and that the Spirit of God would move so powerfully in this place that the lives changed here can only attribute their praise to the God behind it all. Pray for balance, pray for peace, pray for wisdom and understanding. Pray for me, I need all the help I can get.
My prayer for you is that you will seek out your dreams, find them, and hold on.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
